In Memory – Dr. Virginia E. Lee

Dr. Virginia Lee

Virginia E. Lee, DMD

Capital Oral & Facial Surgery Center mourns the passing of its founder Dr. Virginia E. Lee, DMD. Dr. Lee touched the lives of thousands of people in our community. Her memory will continue to live among her family, patients and colleagues.

Dr. Lee was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania. She attended Franklin and Marshall College, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in biology. She went on to earn her DMD from Temple University in Philadelphia. Following dental school, Dr. Lee received her training in oral and maxillofacial surgery from University of Maryland Medical Systems and from R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Lee devoted her professional career to all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Lee started her practice in 1998, and it continues now as Capital Oral & Facial Surgery Center. Dr. Lee’s expert knowledge of oral surgery and her personalized approach to treating patients made her a sought-after practitioner for patients who want the highest levels of surgical care. A gentle and compassionate chairside rapport was as much a part of her success as her unparalleled clinical skill.

Dr. Farzaneh Rostami has taken over the practice and is committed to continuing Dr. Lee’s work. We will miss her compassion, warmth, mentorship and support. She will never be forgotten.
